Welcome to Give Back Lehigh Valley! Your one stop shop to make a different right here in the Lehigh Valley Community! Since 2013, GBLV, with all of the support of our incredible Give Back Fam, has raised over $125,000 for several local organizations, individuals and causes. The single hope of GBLV is to assist people in need and to inspire the Lehigh Valley community to help their neighbors by showing up for them, spreading love and kindness and offering some extra support. As one person, you can spark change, but as a community… that change is limitless.
Between 2013 – 2025, we have raised over $125,000 for our community, thanks to amazing people like you! This is in addition to the 4,000+ Holiday Hope Chests donated to kinds in need over the holidays! From our 1,000 masks drive at the beginning of Covid for our front line workers and a virtual bingo to promote #SupportingLocal during that critical period, to raising $6,000 for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the LV and walking to show support to our little cancer warriors in our community, GBLV has been here to help wherever our community needs us.
What is Give Back Lehigh Valley?
Give Back Lehigh Valley was created by husband and wife team Joe and Aurora Brunovsky. The organization was formed in 2013 as an idea to give our friends and family a chance to give back to their local community and make a small difference in someone else’s life. We don’t support just one cause, we support wherever our community needs help. We encourage giving, volunteering and helping those in need wherever you can. This idea has blossomed into the organization that we have today, raising over $125,000 right here in our very own back yard.
The GBLV organization has been recognized by many in our local community including politicians, business owners, community leaders and more recently, we received recognition by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf for our fight against opioid addiction in 2019. Joe and Aurora believe that it’s everyone’s duty to give a little to those in need and this is their way to Give Back. This small idea has blossomed into something much bigger! We have many different events throughout the year with our two capstone events being the Give Back LV Corn hole Tournament and The Holiday Hope Chest Campaign!
The tournament has turned into a $20,000+ day event and has donated over $100,000 to organizations throughout our community. On a yearly basis we have around 100 players plus an additional 100+ friends and family in attendance along with food, drinks, games and raffle prizes.
The Holiday Hope Chest campaign is something Give Back LV has also been involved with since 2013. It’s the building and collecting of shoe boxes filled with necessities and toys/trinkets for children in our community who may not get many holiday gifts. Since 2013, Give Back LV has donated over 1,200 Hope Chests to brighten the holiday of a child here in the Lehigh Valley!
